Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Credentials Evaluation
for Internationally Educated Applicants

These evaluations are used for applying for state board licensure as a certified public accountant in the United States, for further education and for membership to the American CPA Association. There are three types of reports from which to choose.

ICD General Statement Evaluation Report

This first level report details:

  • time period(s) of study,
  • institution(s) attended,
  • all degrees/diplomas/certificates earned, and
  • U.S. equivalent of the international educational credentials.

ICD Course-by-Course Evaluation Report

This report begins with all of the services that the General Statement Evaluation provides. In addition, it includes a detailed breakdown of all courses, credits and grades, identifying each foreign educational credential and its U.S. educational equivalent and providing the U.S. credit equivalents for each subject studied. The Course-by-Course Evaluation Report contains:

  • General Statement Evaluation,
  • listing of all courses, credits and grades, identifying each foreign educational credential and its U.S. educational equivalent, and
  • U.S. credit equivalents for each subject studied.

CPA Professional Evaluation Report

This report begins with all of the services that the General Statement Evaluation provides. In addition, it includes a course category breakdown within the applicant's foreign CPA curriculum (i.e., general education, mathematics and professional education), and a declarative statement clearly indicating our opinion as to the comparability of the individual applicant's educational qualifications, as they relate to the specific requirements to sit for the Uniform CPA Examination, in the state to which the applicant applied. The CPA Professional Evaluation contains:

  • time period(s) of study,
  • course category breakdown within the applicant's foreign CPA curriculum, and
  • declarative statement

In addition, a Course-by-Course Evaluation can be added to the CPA Professional Evaluation for an additional fee. This service includes a detailed breakdown of all courses, credits and grades (not just those within the applicant's CPA curriculum), identifying each foreign educational credential and its U.S. educational equivalent and providing the U.S. credit equivalents for each subject studied. +
